What we build for NW Calgary clients

Local insight: what works in NW Calgary homes
A few patterns we've noticed in higher-end West Calgary builds:
- Two-storey closets are common. Many NW homes have primary suites with vaulted or 9-foot+ ceilings — a real opportunity for floor-to-ceiling wardrobes that reach the actual ceiling, no dust-trap gap above.
- The basement closet is underused. NW Calgary has a high share of homes with finished basement suites. Adding a real fitted wardrobe down there raises rental value meaningfully.
- Winter mudrooms get punished. NW commutes mean salty boots, hockey gear, and dog leashes year-round. Mudroom built-ins with drying drawers and vented boot trays earn their cost in a single winter.
- Newer NW builds are square. Sage Hill, Evanston, Nolan Hill — walls measure square, ceilings stay at advertised heights. Installs in these neighbourhoods go fast and clean.
- Older NW builds want care. Hamptons, Arbour Lake, Citadel — homes 20+ years old with plaster patches and out-of-square walls. We scribe to fit; nothing forced.
